Beau

Beau is a very special guy. Beau came to me with Daisy when they were just tiny little bits. When he was about a month old, he had a series of at least 3 seizures (that I know of). I rushed to the vet when I caught him in the middle of one, but he was so little, that he said that he was too small to medicate, that he would either be alright or not. I didn't believe that noise for a second. I stayed awake for 3 days just watching him breath and giving him healing, and when it looked like he was a little slow to take a breath, I'd stimulate the pressure point on his nose. After three days he just woke up from a semi-comatose state like he just been taking a nap. To the best of my knowledge he hasn't had another seizure.

Now Beau is still a little special. He breaths through his mouth all the time when he's awake, but strangely sleeps with it closed, so I have to keep a close watch on the health of his teeth. He does have a little trouble controlling his salivary glands, so grooming himself results in a wetter than usual cat. He absolutely insists on drinking out of the kitchen faucet, and will whine incessantly if someone turns off the drip-drip on him. Of course, this makes him even wetter.

Beau is exceptionally affectionate, rolling and flopping on the lap as if he was in the throes of a really good nip-high. He goes a little bit wild for his Reiki too, preferring to take it directly from my hands, and when it's time for his treatment, he demands it!
